CHS Homecoming Dance

 

Ross Kimbro, with RNB Entertainment, did an OUTSTANDING job for us at our Homecoming Dance!!!  The students were very receptive to him, as they felt comfortable approaching Ross to make song requests.  He knew what the students liked, and the dance floor stayed busy all night; we even had to turn on the lights to get the students to leave!  His set up and lights were a hit, and I received many compliments on his behalf from students and parents.  Ross was very professional, yet fun with the students.  Concerning school dances it can be a touchy situation….either the DJ is awesome, or not!  For our dance, we chose the best!  We will definitely request Ross, with RNB Entertainment, in the future!

Payson’s Birthday Party

 

Getting an appointment with Ross was super easy.  We had recently met at the wedding of my niece where Ross and my son instantly became friends and he and I continued our friendship through social media.  When it came time to plan a birthday party for my son, Payson who always gives me a challenge, being born a December baby, decided this year he wanted a "DJ party"... complete with boys and girls!!  Mind you, the challenge was he was only turning 11 and not many DJ's are willing to do parties for kids that young!  Not to mention he didn't want just "any" DJ, my son was determined he would have Ross Kimbro!!  He picked out the party place, date, time, snacks, and fixed the guest list and said “Mom you call Ross, he's my buddy he'll do this for me!"  So I did and being the great guy he is Ross agreed to do the party without hesitation. He was truthful and very honest letting us know that he had never done a party for that young age group but that he would, assuring us that the level of entertainment would be tasteful and age appropriate. The night of the party Ross was on time for setup and even brought  music related games and treats with him just in case the guys and girls shied away from each other....these were not needed, his entertainment as DJ had all 50 of them on the dance floor dancing the night away. Needless to say, the party was a blast and as everyone was leaving they wanted to know if we would do it again real soon and bring Ross back again to??  My reply, he's affordable, dependable, you kids love him, and on a scale from 1-10 we give him a 10, so why not.  Let's get Ross and do this again!!!

Hardison Wedding

 

Ross,

I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the music that you provided on October 11, 2014 for Mary Kathryn and Kurt’s wedding reception.  Your enthusiasm was contagious and you kept the guests engaged and up on their feet throughout the evening.  We appreciated the fact that you took the time to send us a song request sheet well in advance so that we were able to let you know some of our favorites beforehand.  That speaks to both your professionalism and attention to detail.  From Mary Kathryn and Kurt’s dance, the father/daughter dance, and Kurt’s dance with his mom to the very end of the evening, there was not a single “dead” moment.  You adjusted your music to accommodate quite moments of conversation, yet still keeping the guests engaged.   Many of them have commented on what a wonderful evening it was and you helped make it so.  We thank you for making our daughter’s wedding reception a memorable evening for both she and Kurt and all of our guests.  If we ever have to do this again, you will be at the top of our list!

Strickland Wedding

 

We used R&B Entertainment for our wedding this summer & they were amazing! Working with Ross to choose songs & set the timing was a seamless process, resulting in an unforgettable night! From the ceremony to the reception, their service was top notch (and patience with me, the bride) was great :) There was a diverse crowd but he was able to please us all, even my older relatives were on the dance floor! All in all, this is a great DJ service. They definitely kept the night moving & I would recommend them to anyone looking to have great entertainment and music for their event!

May Wedding

 

Ross was the DJ at our wedding September 13th, 2014 in Wilmington NC. The price was fair and better than all of the DJs I had contacted in Wilmington. He did an excellent job commentating the wedding and during the reception he kept the guest dancing and excited and the party was rocking. We would recommend Ross anytime , he is an awesome DJ.

Catholic Church Gala

 

Ross Kimbro II did an absolutely amazing job as a DJ at my church’s Winter Gala Fundraiser!   He was kind, incredibly professional, and listened to everything that we wanted. We asked him to play some French, Polish, and Spanish music and he was able to do all. He had everyone on the dance floor for the entire evening, and I am still hearing from guests how this was the best party ever. People were on the dance floor before the food was served until after last call!  If you want a reliable, professional, and absolutely amazing DJ, Kimbro is your guy!
